Pair Nearby

  1. Sign in to the App and select the device in the header.
  2. Tap Cloud in the header, or open Settings → Nearby connection.
  3. Choose Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, or Device hotspot.
  4. Tap Connect (for Bluetooth: choose the ByteStar device in the browser/OS prompt; use Chrome or Edge on web).
  5. Optionally Pair this phone so reconnects do not ask for location again.
  6. Control the device while the Nearby session is active (up to about 1 hour).

You still need permission on that device/space. Pairing does not bypass roles.

Owner controls (when available): Allow Nearby on this device, Revoke all phone pairings.
